Happy Mother's Day!!!!
I have the best kids ever!!! Even though they aren't home, Lacy and Holly both thought of their mom a little early. Holly is in Honduras on a Mission Trip and I hope she is being safe! Lacy is in Las Vegas scoping out the sites, I hope she stays safe as well.
Holly came home on Tuesday evening and was ready to unload her car, but instead came in with my mother's day present! Holly and some of her friends at TX TECH went and made some pottery items. Holly made me some of the coolest coasters I've ever seen!! Each one was different....the top one had MOM written on it,and when it is turned upside down it says WOW....so anyone can use it. The second one had neat dots on it with a creamsicle orange background, the third had a ladybug on it with a lime green background, and the fourth had burgundy diamonds on a lavender background.
Lacy surprised me on Friday with my mother's day gift. She is working at LUSH; which sales all kinds of bath soaps, bubble bars, and lotions. She got me a box of different beauty items inside. She also got me a lovely sapphire bracelet! What a surprise that was..... I love both of my older daughters very much!!
Wendy and daddy are taking me to Six Flags this evening! We are going to have a blast. She didn't leave for the weekend like her older sisters did; so we will have fun riding rides at the theme park on Mother's Day! She and daddy haven't given me their gift yet, but will later today they said.
I'm a very lucky momma!!!! I have three wonderful daughters, and one on the way!!! We still have a while to wait for our Mylie Camille.
Mylie, momma loves you where ever you are, and will be celebrating next year with you and your sisters. What a fun day that will be!!
I'll add photos of all my neat stuff later..... I'll even post some of our adventure at Six Flags.

Adventures in Lubbock......

We went to Lubbock the weekend before Easter and visited Holly. We sure do like Lubbock! Holly took us to see the Ranch Heritage Museum and it reminded me of the one they have in Dallas. This one is much larger I think and less crowded. Wendy had a wonderful time picking up Pecans that were on the ground and Mike cracked them and she ate them. Wendy also enjoyed chasing the Jack Rabbits; boy were they ever the largest rabbits I've ever seen. Compared to the cotton tail we saw the next day at their children's park.....along side with Prairie Dogs at the children's park.
We also went to the nicest Drive~In Movie Theater ever!! We went to see Meet the Robinson's.
Enjoy the photos.

Let me explain.....
Hi, I have been working on putting this smile box together. I finally got it to go on to my blog.
I would like for it to have music as well, but that costs a little more than just posting this....this was only .99 cents. It is 1.99 to add music to your smile box.
Enjoy, I will be trying to play with this a little more.
Thank you to my friend Amanda for showing this to me.

My friends leave today for China!!
Friends from our first travel group are leaving today for China to bring their son and brother home.
Their family adopted Jade at the same time we adopted Wendy.
Trace is almost the same age as Jade. He is 3 years also, but a few months difference if I remember correctly.
Safe trip Kelsey and Lorrena! We can't wait to see photos.

It's been a while....

I have been spring cleaning and what I don't throw away I am putting into a large box for garage sale. I haven't had one in so long, but when we do we usually do well. I've decided that if we haven't used it in a while it will go into the box.
I have also cleaned out all of Wendy's 12, 18 , and some of her 24 month clothes. We went and got a clear plastic container so I can see what I have put up for Mylie.
I do want some newer items for her so I have culled what I didn't like on Wendy and those things are going in the box.
I figure what we don't sale I will take to Goodwill. What we do sale will help with the trip fund.
My next step is to fix the dining room into the nursery. I've been so confused on how to transform it that I have been overwhelmed to the point I'm at a stand still. How on earth do you make a formal dining room look like a nursery/toddler bedroom!?!
Mike and I did take measurements of all the wall space. I really need storage since there isn't a closet
I'll stay posted as it goes. Right now nothing else is going on with the room.
We had a wonderful weekend for Chinese New Year! I'll post photos tomorrow between cleaning house for Holly to come in on Friday. I may wait to post photos after Holly has been here for the weekend so I can get some photos up of Holly sharing CNY with us and our FCC group.
Oh well, here is one photo with Amelia a June DTC friend's new daughter. They live in Lubbock, and took Holly to their Groups Chinese New Year Celebration.
Thanks, Amy and Amelia.
Till then,
Lesa
