We got our LSC today!!!! It took only 13 days from our PA to get our LSC! I think this is some kind of record? It took such a short time to get it! I've been told it could be 6-12 weeks to get the LSC. Now you ask what is the LSC? Well it stands for Letter Seeking Conformation...this means that this is our "Official" referral!! Evan is ours!!! Now to wait for Travel Approval "TA". Our agency seems to think we will get to travel the first week of November. October is out, because of the Fall Festival they have. I can't remember exactly what they call it, but everything shuts down for this event. September families already have their travel info. so we won't be able to travel then.
Okay, let me share some things about him. He is a 2 1/2 year old doll named Rao Su Xin soon to be Evan Michael Suxin !!! His birthday is September 27th, 2006. He is from Xinzhou, Shangrao SWI, Jiangxi of Jiangxi Province. He is in Foster Care; so he may have a hard time leaving them. He is not far from Shanghai. So, we are hoping to travel to Shanghai this time instead of Beijing.
(Red Thread Connections)
His birthday month is one month from Holly's exactly, one red thread.
He looks like Wendy, second red thread! I found him the day after my birthday on a shared list, third red thread. I had gotten my Ladybbug tattoo the day before I found him, fourth red thread.
The day after we locked his file Mike came home and told me that it just dawned on him that Evan's birthday landed on the anniversary of his daddy's death, FIFTH red thread!! This little man has lots of connections to us! It must be Gods way of saying he is ours.
He is a Special Needs baby. He was born with heart issues, but has been surgically repaired. The Doctors in Shanghai have said he won't need further surgeries. We are thrilled about this news. We will still be having him seen by a Heart Specialist here. The most fantastic news is that he is being cared for by a group called Love Without Boundaries. They raise funds to get help for all of the babies they care for to help with their surgeries. It is ran by people from the states with the help and care of nannies from China. They have lots of wonderful photos of him and have passed them to us and have kept up with all of his information so we know more about him than we did about Wendy. I will be adding their link to my sidebar soon. It is a wonderful cause to donate to because so many babies benefit from these funds.
I think you are tired of me rambling and are wanting to see photos.
These were given to me the day after we locked his file.
We have several other photos, but can't seem to get them to copy, but when I do you will be seeing these as well.
Okay, here are 3 NEW UPDATED PHOTOS!!!!! Just a little while ago! One is of him and his little friend there in the SWI, the second is of him looking for cookies in someones handbag.lol The third is of him and his Nanny. Mike noticed that they have painted his toes and fingers pink, red, and maybe lavender. LOL

Wow! Great news. I can't believe your LSC came in so quickly. Too bad about the October trade show messing up travel plans, but here's hoping the next few months fly by and that Evan will soon be in your arms. So who's all traveling to China?
Wow! So fast. Great news! Evan is a cutie pie. So excited for you. You know there is a yahoo group for parents with heart babies from China. Great resource should you ever need it.
Congratulations!
Wow -- that is fabulous!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited for you. And wow - that is really, really fast for an LSC. If I could only get GW to review our HS sometime this year I could get our LSC too. Love the new pictures. He looks like a very happy boy. I know November can't get here soon enough for you.
Love ya,
Sherry

I'm with Debz. I think the resemblance to your daughter is amazing! That 2nd pic from the top really looks like her. Do you see it or are we just crazy? LOL!
Congratulations! He's a gorgeous boy whether he looks like his sister or not.
PS. I think Tonggu Momma and I may be the only ones left in the June Bugs pretty soon. You're all leaving us behind. LOL!! But congrats to you for it! I would too if I could .... but not an option with my agency :(
I totally know what you are saying! The second photo is the one I was saying looked so much like Wendy!

He is a little cutie! So happy for you guys. Our Sydney & Evan are almost the same age. Evan is one month older. Kinda neat! I wonder if we will travel around the same time. Glad your letter came quickly.
YES God knew 2000 years ago that Evan was going to be yours. And he is beautiful, I know for a boy or man you are supposed to say handsome, but he is beautiful!!!
Love and blessings, Kristy

What awesome news!! Oh, you're getting so close!!!! He is such a cutie-pie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And how great that you have so many photos of him. They are such a treasure.
Sarah tells me Shanghai is a wonderful place to visit so hopefully you'll get some time to check it out while you're there. She traveled there a few times with the children's art group so they could do performances. It's actually one of the places she really wants to get back and visit.
Best Wishes,
Debbi, Kevin and Sarah
Ok, call me slow, but I just found your blog. Oh my goodness, Evan is such a cutie! It is so wonderful that you have so many pictures to help you get through the wait for TA. I hope it is soon!
Congratulations! What a handsome, handsome boy! And I agree with Special K and Debz... he does look a lot like Wendy, especially in that second photo. Special K and I are feeling awful lonely in the June Bugs Room though. Heh. Just kidding - I'm VERY happy for y'all!!!!
my little girl and I (home for 2 weeks) have been going through your blog and she is pointing and just SO happy to see (not spelling this right), 'shu shu'? (at least that's what she's calling your son)!
