Two Weeks From Today!!

One of the families that is getting their little girl tomorrow took a trip to New Hope Foundation yesterday. She asked if she could see two of the boys that will be getting their families soon. Guess What!! One of these were Evan!! I am so grateful to Kristie and her husband for doing this for us.
We will be going there just like them and seeing the facilities, but minus Evan. He will not be there when we go. He will be waiting for us in Nanchang. Oh how my heart aches for him. This will be such a transition for this little boy and I have a feeling this won't be like Wendy's adoption (smooth and so easy). I have a feeling that he will be so lost and wanting his nanny back.

These photos are so new....they were taken just yesterday!!! This is how our son will look when we get him.

He does have a touch of silliness to him as you can see by the photos. He will fit in so perfectly in this family! Oh what fun he will be.

We will be traveling to Beijing on the 21st and then we will arrive on the 23rd, on this same day we will be driving on up two hours away from Beijing to New Hope Foundation. We will be so exhausted from all of the flying, but this will be so worth it. Then we will be heading back to Beijing to meet up with our travel mates, and then on the 24th we will tour the Great Wall, Tienanmen Square, and the Forbidden City. On the 25th we will fly to Nanchang not long after we put our stuff in our rooms we will receive our Evan at 3:30 pm!! A day earlier than we were going to. I'm so very excited about this!!

Above is the map to Jiangxi Province where we will be going to get Evan. We will be in Nanchang which is the capital of Jiangxi and way to the far right you can see Shangrao, this is where Evan was originally found.

Oh, I keep forgetting to say that our guide will be Veronica. If anyone from our agency has had her please let me know.

Veronica was our guide for much of our trip to get Camry. We adored her! She was great with Joely and the other older siblings. Tell her hello for us. You will be in great hands.

veronica was my guide when I went to get Olivia in 2004. She is wonderful. Emma was with us and she kind of took her under her wing.

What luck getting such great pictures. Can't wait to follow your journey.

I cannot believe you are leaving so soon! Are your bags packed, and have you rechecked your lists about 20 or so times?

Evan keeps getting cuter with each photo you get! He obviously has been blessed with wonderful care and you have been blessed as well in finding him. I cannot wait to follow your journey and hope you have no problems accessing the internet while you are in China. Your departure date will be here before I know it, so please forgive me if I miss the date and forget to wish you a safe journey days before you leave. I will do my best to try, but time has had a way of getting past me these days!

Much love to you all my friend!
Your secret pal ; )

Jan, I will try my best to hug everyone of them. That could be difficult. ha

Susan, not totally packed, but really close. I need to get done cause I keep finding things at the store to get and take for the kiddos left behind. I'm running out of space for my stuff. ha I've gotten playdough and crayons and color books plus some clothes for them.

We better go soon.....!

Lesa he is just too cute!!! I just want to squeeze him!!! He looks so healthy and happy...as hard as the transition will be, how wonderful to know he's been so well cared for. Even the gal holding him has fondness written on her face! What a blessing!!! Can't wait to see him in your arms!

Oh Lesa look how handsome he is, I just love him to pieces already. I can't wait for you to have him in your arms. If I could type out what it must look like for me to be doing the happy dance I would !! I just can't wait.

Lesa sinced the beginning of this journey I don't know why but the Jiangxi province is for some reason where I feel Franceska will come from. Dont ask why but for the last 4 years around every corner the name of that province is just always there???? We shall soon see....

Love you, Kristy
